The ‘Friends of St Andrews’ are local volunteers who work together to enhance community use of the church, share the effort involved in its upkeep and raise funds for restoration and improvement projects.  

Many skills (professional, trade and general life skills) are needed to preserve this important heritage site.  If you can spare some of your precious time, even if only an hour or two, your help will be very much appreciated.  Please visit our VOLUNTEERING page or CONTACT us for more information.  

A Venue for All

St Andrew’s is a unique spiritual venue, and families in the parish have celebrated and commemorated special life events here for centuries.  Please visit our COMMUNITY page or CONTACT us for more information if you would like to hold a special service at the church.

The wonderful acoustics and beautiful interior of the building also make it an attractive venue for talks, musical performances and many other events.  The church is available to hire for some events and activities outside of services in addition to those organised by FOSTA.  Please visit our COMMUNITY page of CONTACT us for more information. 

Fund Raising

Time has taken a toll on St Andrew’s and funds are being raised for restoration work, to improve accessibility, and to provide some essential modern facilities.  

FOSTA runs regular events for local people in and around Landford to raise funds for fabric projects.  These have included Quiz Nights at the Village Hall, musical events, guest speaker talks and local tours.  We are keen to explore new ideas that might have local appeal, so do let us know if you have an idea for an event or activity that FOSTA may be able to support.  Our upcoming events can be viewed HERE.
